Administrative Data Council — Fiscal Year 2010

Structure

The Enterprise Systems Executive Committee has oversight of the Administrative and Data Council. The Vice President and Chief Technology Officer appoints the Committee Members and Chair. Rebecca Cooke, Senior Associate Dean for Administration in the Feinberg School of Medicine serves as Chair of the Administrative Data Council. Members are selected from various departments and schools to provide a depth and breadth of experience and knowledge about the University and its business. The committee meetings are scheduled as required.

Purpose

The Administrative Data Council continues to develop and draft policies and processes that help Northwestern to maximize the effective use of administrative data. This includes linking the data stewardship efforts with ongoing administrative systems efforts to ensure consistency, ensuring that the ADC recommendations have considered systems and work process implications related to current, new, and proposed management systems, and ensuring that policy implications for the University related to specific recommendations are clearly reviewed and considered.
