ASG / IT Student Advisory Committee — Fiscal Year 2009

Structure

The Associated Student Government (ASG) hereby creates the ASG/IT Student Advisory Committee. This committee, chaired by the Northwestern University Information Technology (NUIT) Director of Technology Support Services, is composed of:

  • NUIT Director of Academic & Research Technologies
  • NUIT Manager of Support Services
  • ASG President
  • ASG Technology Director
  • ASG Student Services Director
  • ASG Academic Services Director
  • Eight Students at Large selected by the ASG Academic Director under the following guidelines:
    • One student each from the School of Education and Social Policy, the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Medill School of Journalism, the School of Music, and the School of Communication;
    • Three students from the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, with one each from the hard sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

Purpose

Advises Northwestern University Information Technology. This committee is a structural mechanism through which to solicit student input on technology issues.

Operating Principles

The committee meets once per quarter.
