The Last Expression: Art and Auschwitz

The Last Expression is a forum to explore the roles, functions, meanings and making of art in the Nazi concentration camps of World War II, focusing on the notorious site of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The Web site was prepared in conjunction with the research project and exhibition, The Last Expression: Art and Auschwitz. The exhibition opened Northwestern's Block Museum of Art in September 2002.
