Scholarly Technologies 

Effective tools for digital archives can encourage both scholars and students "to find new paths through old materials." Work on digital archives and associated tools for research and teaching has been underway at Academic & Research Technologies for over 10 years, and has been accomplished with the help of a number of research grants secured in partnership with NU faculty. Our current work includes new high-resolution capabilities for work with digital manuscripts, images, illustrations and maps; new tools for working with audio, video and music clips; and basic work on the services of digital archives.
