Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions is part of Northwestern University Information Technology.
The goal of the Business Intelligence Solutions team is to enable development of integrated reporting and analytical solutions to support better business decision making at the University.
The BI Solutions team consists of technical and functional professionals offering a wide range of business intelligence expertise in:
- Business analysis
- Database and systems architecture
- ETL development
- Data modeling
- Software development
- Quality assurance
Working collaboratively with teams in schools and central units across the University, Business Intelligence Solutions develops standard shared data architecture, champions best practices, standardizes tools and processes, and encourages the sharing of ideas and knowledge within teams.
Cognos BI is the standard Business Intelligence platform for the University.
