Set Up E-mail for Online Directory

Your e-mail program can automatically search the University servers for e-mail addresses of recipients when composing e-mail messages or to locate other resources, such as files and devices.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up your preferred e-mail client.

Students with @u.northwestern.edu accounts have direct access to the Northwestern University online directory in the @u.northwestern.edu interface.  The online directory link is located at the top of most @u.northwestern.edu pages.  Also, as @u.northwestern.edu users send messages from their @u.northwestern.edu account, addresses are automatically added to the user's address book.
