Migrate Eudora Data (Outlook)

This procedure will take you through the proper steps for migrating your Eudora messages and address book into a pre-configured Outlook client. These instructions pertain to Outlook, however they may be similar enough to also be appropriate for previous versions.

First time users of Outlook, please complete the following before migrating:

  • Check to see that Microsoft Office is installed on your computer. Navigate through the start button in the Windows taskbar to All Programs, then find Microsoft Office and click on Outlook. If Microsoft Office is not already installed on your computer, you can purchase a site license by visiting NUIT's software Web site
  • Set-up Outlook. First time users need to properly set up Outlook to begin receiving e-mail before migrating.

! Any software transfer has challenges, so if you feel more comfortable with support help, we encourage you to contact your local technical support person or the NUIT Support Center at 847-491-HELP (4357) before beginning the migration process.
