Upgrade Your Symantec Antivirus
Keep your machine clean and virus free — update your version of Symantec AntiVirus for Windows to 10.1.6. It is a quick and easy download from the NUIT software Web page.
This update guards your computer against the known vulnerabilities of the previous Symantec version.
Note, however, that if your computer uses a managed version of SAV, you should not run the SAV upgrade installer.
To find out if you are running managed SAV, find General Information from the main SAV window. If the field called Parent Server has an entry other than None, you are running managed SAV.
If you are running managed SAV and you do not have version 10.1.6, contact your local technical support staff.
