Make a Course Site Available

Page Content

Before students can access a Course Site, the Course Site must be made available.  If the Course Site is unavailable, instructors are still able to add content to the Course Site.  However, students will not be able to enter the Course Site until it has been made available by the instructor.

To Make a Course Site Available:

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
The Course Management Control Panel. The Customization option should be selected.
  2. Click on Customization.
  3. Click on Properties.
  4. In Set Availability, select Yes.
  5. Scroll to the top or the bottom of the page.
  6. Click Submit.

On the 15th day of each quarter, courses from the previous quarter are made unavailable (i.e., 15 days into the winter quarter, fall course sites are made unavailable). Instructors may also make those courses available again as needed.
