NUBlog

NU Blog

NUBlog is a service for students and faculty that is accessible through Northwestern's Course Management System, Blackboard. As an academic service, NUBlog offers faculty and students a convenient way to share their reflections on course topics in and out of the classroom.

NUBlog's features include calendar display, commenting, and trackbacks. Participants may attach key words to blog entries and allow display of entries based on a key word or phrase.

When an instructor enables a course blog, each enrolled student has access to a personal blog for sharing and collaborating course-appropriate ideas.

NUBlog offers students an easy way to:

  • Collaborate and share reflections within a class environment
  • Present reflections in chronological order with the most recently authored content appearing first
  • Upload zoomable pictures with no size limit
  • View all course blog entries on one screen, instead of entries for one blog.
