A telephone line only with no set should be installed in the following situations:

1. To connect a fax machine
2. To use a modem to connect to a non-Internet proprietary system outside Northwestern
3. If you will use your own phone

Ordering

To order a telephone line only, an authorized departmental representative must contact User Services with information identifying the telephone set, location, contact person, and Chart of Account number to which to bill the one-time and recurring charges.
