Show My Network Places on the Desktop

If you do not see My Network Places on your desktop, here are the instructions to make this icon appear:
  1. Right-click on your desktop and select Properties. A window similar to the following will appear:

  2. Select the Desktop tab, then click the Customize Desktop… button. A window similar to the following will appear:

  3. Check the My Network Places checkbox, then click OK.
  4. Click OK to close the Display Properties window.
