What's Hot!

Datacenter Shutdown and Upgrade: To strengthen the availability of University applications and protect critical data, a generator and an upgraded UPS system will be installed at the central NUIT Datacenter in June, requiring a temporary interruption of online University services.

Connect Faster from Home: If you're not already accessing the NU Network via DSL or cable modem from home, now is a good time to make the change! NUIT is retiring central modem pool access to the NU network on August 1.

Upgrade to Windows XP!: NUIT recommends that Windows 2000 users upgrade to Windows XP as soon as possible to help ensure continued functionality and security. The Windows 2000 operating system will reach the end of its supported lifecycle at Northwestern on August 31.
