The Online "Ph" Directory Steps Down For Improved System

As previously announced, in favor of a new and more secure online directory, NUIT will cease support of the online " Ph" directory, effective January 31, 2005. After this date, the search function for e-mail clients and applications that are still set to query the current online "Ph" directory will no longer work.

All Northwestern users, who currently use their e-mail clients to search the current online "Ph" directory MUST reconfigure their e-mail software to point to the new Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory.

School or department level applications that are currently set up to query "Ph" for data will not be able to perform this function after January 31, 2005. To request application access to the new LDAP directory, please access the LDAP Registry Access Request Form.
