Set Up an Ethernet Connection for Macintosh

Configure network settings to use either addressing for Dynamic Ethernet (DHCP) or Static IP:

• Dynamic Ethernet — Use DHCP if you are accessing from a residence hall, a networked Greek house, or a public jack.
• Static Ethernet — Use static Ethernet if you are accessing from some office or lab locations.
