Computer Requirements for Wireless Access
Your laptop must meet minimum requirements and be equipped with a network-compatible wireless card to connect to the "Northwestern" wireless network.
If your laptop does not meet current wireless hardware requirements, you can continue to access the "nuwlan" wireless network using VPN.

| Wireless card | 802.11b/g card that supports 802.1.X/WPA2 |
| Notes | Some laptops do not support WPA2, and new laptops may require an update of your wireless card drivers, an add-on card, or adapter. Contact your vendor to determine 802.1X/WPA2 compatibility. |
