Connecting to Northwestern's Wireless Networks

Faculty, staff, and students should access the "Northwestern" wireless network. This network requires 802.1x/WPA2 compatibility; see Wireless Access Computer Requirements to determine if your laptop complies.

Faculty, staff, and students with laptops that do not meet the 802.1x/WPA2 technical standards should access the "nuwlan" wireless network.

Note: Network users who are currently using "nuwlan" should transition to "Northwestern". Public broadcast of "nuwlan" will end in September 2007, except in areas around the Norris University Center and the Allen Center on the Evanston campus.
