Set Up Wireless for Mac (nuwlan)
- Select Apple => System Preferences.

Click Network. A window similar to the following will appear:

Select NU AirPort from the Location: drop-down list. If this configuration is not listed, you need to create one:

Select New Location… from the Location: drop-down list. A window similar to the following will appear:

- Type NU AirPort into the Name your new location: field.
- Click OK.
- Select NU AirPort from the Location: drop-down list.

Select New Location… from the Location: drop-down list. A window similar to the following will appear:

Select the TCP/IP Tab. A window similar to the following will appear:

- Select AirPort from the Show: drop-down list.
- Select Using DHCP from the Configure IPv4: drop-down list.
- Click Apply Now.
- Select System Preferences => Quit System Preferences.

Select Applications => Internet Connect.

Click AirPort A window similar to the following will appear:

Select Other… from the Network: drop-down menu. A window similar to the following will appear:

- Type nuwlan into the Network Name: field.
- Select None from the Wireless Security: drop down menu.

Click the OK button. A window similar to the following will appear:

- After you have connected to Northwestern's wireless LAN, you must authenticate using Virtual Private Networking (VPN). See Configuring VPN (Mac) for instructions on using VPN.
