Automated Credential Reset Tool for Windows XP

To ensure network and data security for shared or loaner departmental laptops, NUIT provides a tool that automatically removes stored wireless networking credentials on Windows XP machines.

This tool creates a Windows Task and only needs to be executed once. After running the tool, users are required to authenticate with a valid NetID and password each time the computer is restarted and attempts to connect to the “Northwestern” wireless network.

NOTE: You must have access to local administrator credentials for the computer to run the tool.
