Quest Queues

Quest contains several pre-defined queues (or as Moab calls them, "classes"). Depending on the duration of your job and other considerations, you can choose the best class for your job when you submit. By default, jobs are routed according to how they are requested. Note: If you do not specify a queue (class), the scheduler will choose one for you based on the information you specify. To specify a queue for your job, please use the string #MSUB -q QueueName to your submission script.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a hard limit of 30 idle jobs/user.  Jobs that violate this rule will be put on blocked list until the eligible jobs have been scheduled.
