Capacity and Availability Service Monitoring
The capacity and availability service monitoring application is a secure, inclusive, Web-based dashboard for University system administrators and developers to view real-time Web application performances of Northwestern services, including myHR and the Course Management System.
The capacity and availability service monitoring application provides:
- A tool for both Northwestern IT and customers upon which service levels can be set and measured
- Support staff the ability to instantly identify the source of network, workstation, server, application, and content issues
- Forensic details of Web applications to assist with performance and availability
The Capacity and Availability Service Monitoring dashboards are built from data made available from the TrueSight application. Business Units and System Administrators with TrueSight access are able to log in to the application to drill down to more specific Northwestern service details.
University system administrators and application support staff interested in adding a service to the dashboard can send a request to email@example.com.
