NotifyLink Service Overview

NotifyLink is a hosted Web service that interfaces with Meeting Maker client to connect a mobile device directly to Meeting Maker calendar. Northwestern University Information Technology provides this service for those University schools and departments who require a higher level of service for users with a variety of mobile devices. The NotifyLink annual license cycle begins on October 15 of each year.

Mobile devices compatible with the NotifyLink service include:

• BlackBerry
• iPhone/iPod Touch
• Palm OS Based
• Symbian
• Windows Mobile 5/6

Cost

NotifyLink charges an annual fee of $126 plus a $20 administrative and server fee. The annual fee is prorated for license purchases made after October 15. The cost is $10.50 per month, multiplied by the number of months remaining until October 15 of the renewal year. A one time $20 administrative and server fee applies to all new license requests.

Example: NotifyLink service ordered on December 5, would cost $125. ($10.50 x 10 months = $105 + $20 administration fee = $125)

At this time, a valid Chart of Accounts number is the only acceptable method of payment.

How to Order

Complete the NotifyLink Account Request Form. Once the order is processed, users will receive an e-mail from NotifyLink that provides configuration information.

NOTE: By ordering the NotifyLink service, you are agreeing to commit through the license cycle, which begins on October 15 of each year. Licenses are non-refundable, however may be transferred to another user or device by completing the NotifyLink Account Request Form.
