Where can I get SAS documentation?
Windows users can purchase the optional On-line Documentation CD for SAS. Printed documentation and manuals are not covered by the University's site license. For information about SAS Publications, see the SAS Publications home page.
If my existing SAS license is current and a newer version of the software has been released, how can I upgrade to it, and is there a fee?
If your existing SAS license is current and you want to upgrade to a newer version of the software, you may request your upgrade or determine eligibility by providing your prior proof of purchase or the order number, along with your NetID from your previous NUIT-purchased version, to questions@software.northwestern.edu.
Windows SAS version upgrades can be obtained for free via the Chocolate server or though a CD purchase.
If you are ordering media for an upgrade, remember to write your current fiscal year's license order number on the signed form before faxing it.
If I purchase a license on the Microsoft Select, SAS, or SPSS programs, will I receive an official license certificate?
Under these programs, no official license certificates will be delivered to departments.What installation methods are available for SAS?
Windows users who purchase a current SAS license can either download the software from the Software Repository Server (Chocolate) or install with separately purchased media.
