Running LiveUpdate Manually for Windows

Step-by-step instructions on how to run LiveUpdate manually using Symantec Endpoint Protection for Windows.

1. Connect to the Internet.
2. Select Start => Programs => Symantec Endpoint Protection => Symantec Endpoint Protection. A window similar to the following will appear:

3. Click LiveUpdate. A window similar to the following will appear:
   
   

   Symantec Endpoint Protection LiveUpdate Step 01 (Windows)

4. Click Next. Once the update is complete a window similar to the following will appear:
   
   

   Symantec Endpoint Protection LiveUpdate Step 02 (Windows)

5. Click Finish.
   
6. Click Exit to close the application.
