Scheduling LiveUpdate for Windows

Step-by-step instructions on how to schedule LiveUpdate using Symantec Endpoint Protection for Windows.

1. Select Start => Programs => Symantec Endpoint Protection => Symantec Endpoint Protection. A window similar to the following will appear:

2. Select Change Settings => Client Management => Scheduled Updates…. A window similar to the following will appear:
   
   

   Symantec Endpoint Protection Schedule Virus Definition Updates

3. Click the Enable scheduled automatic updates checkbox.
   1. Select the Daily radio checkbox.
   2. Click OK to close the Virus Definition Update Schedule window.
      
4. Click OK to close the Schedule Virus Definition Updates window.
