NUIT Revises Datacenter Services and Pricing for FY05

NUIT has revised the service level and pricing structure for its Datacenter file server housing and system support options for Northwestern University departments and schools.

In the interest of better accommodating the needs of University departments, schools, and researchers, NUIT has revised the service level and pricing structure for its Datacenter file sever housing and system support.

All services are provided at Datacenter locations operated by NUIT Computing Services, on a "for-fee" basis determined by the type and level of service and support chosen. Three service levels are available, depending on the customer's specific needs:

• Storage Services - "Space-only" service, with or without data backup and restore services.
• Server Hosting - Housing of servers in a secure location, with or without data backup and restore services and/or technical support.
• Research-Specific Services - "Space-only" service solely for University researchers running research-specific equipment.

An additional service available from NUIT provides access to documents, data, and reports stored on University mainframe computers.
