New Training & Workshop Registration Tool, eDevelopment, Available

A feature-rich, enterprise level workshop registration system, eDevelopment, has been successfully implemented by the HRIS team. As a result, the former Workshop Registration System hosted on Aquavite's server has been retired. eDevelopment, powered by Oracle's PeopleSoft, allows for greater functionality and features, including:

• Track all internal and external classes
• Track licenses and certifications
• Enrollees can view training summary and enrollment status
• Track course registration fees as well as cancellation fees
• Generate completion certificates
• Track course test scores
• Enrollees can enter personal development information such as education, memberships, and awards

Faculty, staff, and students can enroll in University-sponsored events, workshops, and training sessions through HRIS Self Service. Because training sessions and other University-sponsored events are tracked in eDevelopment, users have convenient access to their training history and completion records.

Additionally, Workshop Registration System administrators and instructors can now access eDevelopment in HRIS Self Service.
