DirecTV at NU

NUIT and Campus TeleVideo have partnered to provide DirecTV television programming for faculty and staff use in common areas. The service is delivered over the University network and does not require faculty and staff to own a physical satellite dish.

The expanded channel package is available to the NU community in two display types: standard and high-definition. DirecTV satellite dishes and other management equipment will be housed by NUIT. Users will only need an active data circuit (dedicated for DirecTV-use only), DirecTV receiver, and a television or monitor to view DirecTV programming at NU.

Ordering

A dedicated, working data circuit will need to be available for DirecTV use only. A departmental work order contact will need to order one through the CONDUITS Online Order Form. Once a data circuit is available and has been provisioned for DirecTV, the work order contact will need to contact the DirecTV vendor, Campus TeleVideo, to order DirecTV service.

Existing data circuits can be re-provisioned for DirecTV via the CONDUITS Online Order Form.
