Can I keep the NUTV Set Top Box after I cancel NUTV common area television service?No, the NUTV Set Top Box must be returned to NUIT after service cancellation. What is the warranty period for an NUTV Set Top Box?The NUTV Set Top Box warranty period is one year. NUIT will replace defective units within that one year at no additional charge. Any damage that occurs rendering the unit unusable will be the responsibility of the customer and a replacement charge will be assessed. Is there a replacement cost for a damaged, vandalized, or a lost NUTV Set Top Box?If a NUTV Set Top Box is damaged or becomes defective after the one warranty period, a replacement charge of $280 will be assessed to the customer’s CUFS account. In addition to replacement equipment costs, labor charges at the rate of $71.40/hour (minimum one-half hour $35.70) will apply. Replacement will occur during regular hours of 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Is there a replacement cost for a damaged or lost remote control?The cost of a replacement remote control is $12.50 and charged to customer’s CUFS account. In addition to replacement equipment costs, labor charges at the rate of $71.40/hour (minimum one-half hour $35.70) will apply. Which campus is NUTV television service offered?Chicago and Evanston. Can I use a remote VPN connection with NUTV television service?No, remote VPN access is not available. Can I see a sample of NUTV picture quality?To sample NUTV picture quality, visit the NUTV Web site and click the Watch Basic NUTV button. High definition resolution is not available with any NUTV services.
