Videoconferencing supports two-way music classes

Professor Chris Millard of the Northwestern Bienen School of Music is able to continue to teach his students while away performing in Canada.  While on travel, using the facilities at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada and the University of British Columbia, Prof. Millard was able to hold classes with his students using videoconferencing.

During the Fall 2008 quarter, there were 3 separate sessions between Prof. Millard and his students where they performed their assignment and were critiqued and guided for improvement and given new assignments to be completed upon his return to Northwestern.

Additional sessions are scheduled for the upcoming Winter and Spring quarters in 2009
