January 24, 2019: The project has been approved, and the first phase is now proceeding on track. The agreement has been announced via in-person meetings and email messages to Weinberg College and Northwestern IT staff members:

The Weinberg College IT Support Integration provides for enhanced IT support services and more strategic focus for Weinberg College and Northwestern IT in support of Weinberg College faculty and staff.

As a result of the Weinberg College IT Support Integration the following outcomes are expected for affected users in the College:

Approach

The Weinberg College IT Support Integration project is intended to transition aspects of Weinberg IT support to Technology Support Services within Northwestern IT in two phases during the 2018–19 academic year.
