IT Inventory Control Specialist

Under limited direction from the Director of Cyberinfrastructure Service Operation, the Inventory Control Specialist provides onsite support at multiple Northwestern locations serving IT operations and will divide their time between managing secure store facilities, inventory control, and driver duties. This person will need strong computer skills, stockroom, and loading dock experience. Responsibilities include inventory control and distribution of IT parts, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies within buildings and across campuses; keeping secure storage and supporting spaces organized; and performing shipping/receiving duties for IT. Position performs logistical tasks to safeguard the chain-of-custody for IT assets located within a data center facility and movement across an enterprise campus environment. Completes inventory control including asset disposal tasks following procedures which meet organization standards and requirements.
