Northwestern Email and Calendaring
The official University email accounts for faculty and staff is Microsoft 365/Outlook, hosted securely in the Cloud, and administered and supported by Northwestern IT. It includes an integrated calendar, online Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FindTime, To Do Task Manager, and many other Microsoft 365 applications and add-ins.
The Outlook on the Web (OWA) lets you access your Northwestern email, calendar, address book, and tasks on any computer through a web browser. You can also use a desktop email client, or a mobile device to access your Microsoft 365 email and calendar, and more.

Get started
- To use Outlook on the web, the web-based email client for Microsoft 365, open a web browser, and go to https://office365mail.northwestern.edu/ and authenticate with your Northwestern NetID and NetID password.
