Video and web conferencing systems are high-quality collaboration tools that make online meetings easy. These systems may also be connected through room-based videoconferencing.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is the primary persistent chat service that Northwestern provides. It includes group persistent chat, one-to-one-messaging, one-to-one and group web conferencing, and integrates with the Microsoft Office365 environment to help teams collaborate.

Zoom

Zoom is a cloud-based audio/video/content sharing conferencing service HD videoconferencing, screen sharing, and breakout rooms. Zoom integrates with Canvas, the University's Learning Management System, allowing instructors to conduct audio, video, and screen sharing conferencing within their Canvas courses.
