Cost

Public cloud services offer a pay-as-you-go model, meaning you are billed for what you consume on a monthly basis.

How to Request Service

New Account Requests: Please fill out the Public Cloud Account Request Form. Depending on the nature of the request, an account can be provisioned in as little as one business day. You are responsible for paying all monthly invoices for your Public Cloud Account(s). You must set up a blanket purchase order annually to our provider to pay the monthly invoices.

Service Levels

Upon receipt of the completed request form, Northwestern IT will provision a new account for you. While Northwestern IT will maintain the root credentials of the account, you will be granted full administrative access and be responsible for all charges (via purchase order).

Northwestern IT will also pre-configure some services within the account for security and administrative purposes, such as additional logging and single-sign on access to the admin console using your NetID.
