Service Outages Scheduled for CAESAR and myHR – December 5

Northwestern Information Technology is scheduled to perform required maintenance to CAESAR and myHR, resulting in unavoidable interruptions of these University services on Saturday, December 5, 2020.

CAESAR will undergo scheduled maintenance to update to the latest CPU (Peopletools 8.57.18). The service will be unavailable beginning Saturday, December 5, from 7 a.m. through approximately 4 p.m.

The myHR system will undergo scheduled maintenance to apply a critical security patch and required tax updates. myHR, including Self Service and Careers, will be unavailable beginning Saturday, December 5, at 6 a.m. through approximately 4 p.m. During the downtime, data lookup will remain available to administrators in the myHR reporting database. All reports will remain accessible in Cognos and myHR reporting queries. After the maintenance period, users are reminded to clear their cache.

Though actual service outages may be shorter, users should plan for the full maintenance window.
