Northwestern Researchers, Support is Just a Click Away

Posted Date: 6 Oct 2020

Effective Date: 6 Oct 2020

As Northwestern researchers continue to ask the difficult questions and seek solutions for the world’s most pressing problems, Northwestern IT remains committed to finding ways to extend our support for these critical efforts. Every Tuesday, from October 6 through November 17, Northwestern IT’s Research Computing Services staff are partnering with Northwestern Libraries to offer researchers virtual drop-in hours from 3-4 p.m.

These on-call, one-on-one consultations are open to the entire research community—undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff. Consultants can help find bugs in code, streamline data workflows, point individuals to the right language, software, or programming commands, and more.

During open hours, sign-in to Zoom with your Northwestern credentials, and visit the virtual consultation room to connect with someone who can help.

Can't make it to drop-in hours? No problem. Submit a request to schedule a consultation.

Research Computing Services works across the University to support computational and technology needs for the entire research community. Find more upcoming training opportunities, events, and services from Northwestern IT Research Computing Services.
