Winter Break IT Support

Northwestern IT is committed to ensuring that staff across our unit can enjoy time away during the Winter Break as broadly as possible. At the same time, we recognize our organization offers essential services that need to continue 24/7. With that in mind, support for Northwestern services and staff will be available during the Winter Break to assist, as needed, with essential services and critical support areas.

From December 24 through January 3, the campus community can contact 847-491-4357 (1-HELP), which will provide access to support staff who are on-call for urgent matters. Escalation will occur as appropriate to the respective staff, as required. Given the complexities of 2020, we are even more grateful this year to everyone who will be on-site during this period or monitoring and responding to critical issues remotely. Normal services will resume on January 4, 2021.
