Posted Date: 21 Jan 2021

Effective Date: 21 Jan 2021

black and purple TEACHx logoTEACHx, Northwestern University's annual symposium that brings together instructors, students, learning designers, and technology specialists to showcase innovative experiments and celebrate successes in teaching and learning, returns May 11-13, 2021! This year, for the first time, the conference will be held in an all-virtual setting via a combination of Zoom webinars and meetings and a public Canvas site.

The theme for TEACHx 2021 is CONNECTIONS. In a year dominated by a shift to hybrid and remote instruction, how does one make meaningful connections to students, to fellow instructors and peers, and to the thing that brought you here in the first place—a passion for teaching.

Submit a Presentation Proposal

Northwestern and external presenters are invited to submit their TEACHx 2021 session proposal now, through February 22, 2021.

Examples of how you might incorporate the TEACHx 2021 CONNECTIONS theme in your submission could include:

Proposals addressing other themes are also welcome. Of particular interest are proposals that include practical strategies for implementing new techniques in the hybrid classroom or online.
