Consultation and Contract Services

Northwestern IT provides consultation and offers contract services to support the use of videoconferencing technology in learning, teaching, and research activities at the University.

Videoconference Projects and Room Design

Northwestern IT will consult and can provide contractual services to help integrate videoconferencing when planning new construction or renovating an existing room.  These services include project management and system and room design. 

Each project management contract is developed based on individual project needs and required resources.

Videoconference Event Support

To ensure that videoconferencing events are successful, Northwestern Information Technology provides contracted technical support before and during an event.

Videoconference Testing

Pre-conference testing is strongly recommended to ensure that the connections between sites meet appropriate standards and expectations. Testing services are provided at no cost for all Northwestern IT supported videoconference rooms. Contact at least 5 business days prior to your event to schedule pre-conference testing. 

Contract event support is available for all non-Northwestern IT supported rooms.
