Northwestern to Showcase Learning Apps at TEACHx- May 19
In partnership with The Office of the Provost and the Searle Center for Advancing Learning & Teaching, Northwestern Information Technology (IT) is hosting the second annual TEACHx at the Norris Center, Evanston campus, on May 19, 2017. Northwestern faculty and staff are invited to register to attend this one-day symposium to learn from and network with instructors who are leading innovations in teaching and learning through technology.
“TEACHx is really a celebration of Northwestern’s active pedagogical investigations,” said Robert Taylor, senior director, Academic & Research Technologies, Northwestern Information Technology. “We are excited to introduce new opportunities for our instructors to share their high levels of instruction and engagement with students—especially with the support of new Learning Apps for Canvas.”
Learning Apps for Canvas
Prominently featured this year is the suite of Learning Apps for Canvas, including those developed at Northwestern. Ways to use these learning apps to enhance Canvas courses for faculty and students including, promoting engagement, peer-to-peer sharing, and measures of student contributions are offered on the Northwestern Learning Apps website.More News
