DataCamp Online Courses for R and Python

DataCamp is an online service with dozens of self-paced, interactive courses on using R and Python for data analysis. Research Computing Services is providing access to DataCamp for students, faculty, and staff interested in learning or improving their skills with R and Python. Space is limited.

Access is provisioned on a quarterly basis.  Access for the fall quarter will run through January 2, 2018.

If you had access to DataCamp during a previous Research Computing workshop or quarter, you can apply for access again. However, new researchers will be given registration priority. This means that if more new registrants request access during the summer than there are subscriptions available, your DataCamp access may be reallocated to someone else. In such a case, you will be notified by email.

To request access to DataCamp, you must first:

  1. Create a DataCamp account
  2. Do one of the following:

Once you have met the prerequisites, apply for access to DataCamp. After you register, you will receive an email within a few business days confirming your access.
