Northwestern's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) has been upgraded to the latest version of Oracle/PeopleSoft, v.8.9. This major software upgrade also impacts HRIS Self Service and eRecruit, the University's online recruiting/job application system.
In addition to improving user functions, the upgrade is essential to maintaining the Human Resources database and enables the University to take advantage of the latest technology and technical support available for the system.
Impact on End User |
Among the improvements to HRIS are:
- A redesigned, easy-to-navigate Web site for HRIS Self Service.
- Streamlined functions, including searching within eRecruit.
- Enhanced overall speed for access and searching.
The Self Service site features familiar "quick links" to pages for reviewing and updating your personal information, reviewing your pay and compensation history, accessing your benefits information, and applying for jobs at Northwestern.
