SAS 9.1.3 FY08 Windows Licenses Now AvailablePosted Date: 07 Sep 2007 Effective Date: 07 Sep 2007 NUIT is pleased to announce that SAS 9.1.3 Windows licenses for the FY08 fiscal year beginning September 1, 2007 are now available for faculty and staff at a reduced price of $80 each (a savings of $20 over the previous year). The SAS System is an integrated suite of software used for statistical purposes by selected faculty and staff across the University. Users who own a previous SAS license (FY07 and earlier) and all other first-time users may purchase the SAS 9.1.3 FY08 license by visiting the NUIT Site License Software Distribution site at http://software.northwestern.edu. As the version of SAS is not changing for the new fiscal year, customers who currently are running a SAS 9.1.3 FY07 Windows license can follow a simple procedure to renew their installation without the need to re-download/re-install the software. As a reminder, current FY07 Windows license holders will be able to continue running the software during the 90-day grace period before it ceases December 1st. With a license purchase, users may download SAS for free via NUIT server installation or purchase optional basic installation CDs for $135. SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Client Side Components installation CDs are also available as an optional purchase. Faculty and staff who wish to purchase SAS 9.1.3 FY08 Windows licenses may do so through Northwestern's Site-Licensed Software Website. FY08 Windows licenses for SAS 9.1.3 run from September 1, 2007 until August 31, 2008, and are available for use by full-time faculty and staff. The following SAS software suite modules are included in NUIT’s site license:
