Office 2008 for Mac Now Available

Office 2008 for Mac is now available for purchase through the NUIT software provider, Software House International (SHI). The home use provision will become available in March, 2008.

Office 2008 for Mac is a suite of desktop productivity applications that is designed to work specifically with the Macintosh operating system. It provides Macintosh users with applications for creating effective documents, sharing ideas with other users on Macintosh computers or Windows-based computers, and managing information efficiently.

Since the release of Office 2008 for Mac, NUIT has identified compatibility issues with some software titles including, Office 2004 for Mac , EndNote , and Excel 2008 for Mac . While NUIT is continually working to identify the most up to date compatibility issues, users may want to contact specific vendors to determine compatibility prior to purchasing Office 2008 for Mac.
