Now Available: SPSS 16.0.1 Licenses for Fiscal Year 2008

SPSS 16.0.1 for Windows and Mac is now available to faculty and staff. SPSS is predictive analytical software that allows users to forecast, manage, and graph statistical information.

SPSS 16.0.1 features:

• Mac Intel and PPC support
• Expanded analytical capabilities and programmability enhancements
• Enhanced data management and reporting capabilities
• Greater performance through multithreaded algorithms
• Several multithreaded procedures for improved performance and scalability
• In the Data Editor: ability to sort by variable name, type, format, etc.
• Unicode support
• Import/export Excel 2007 data
• Ability to set a permanent default working directory
• Find and Replace feature in the Output Viewer

Fiscal Year 2008 (FY08) licenses for SPSS 16.0.1 run from December 1, 2007 to November 30, 2008.

Faculty and staff can purchase FY08 SPSS 16.0.1 licenses for Windows or Mac for $77. Windows users who prefer CD media in lieu of download installation can purchase it through NUIT Site-licensed Software for an additional $15. CD purchase is required for Macintosh users.
