Letty leads the business operations of Research Computing and Data Services (RCDS). She collaborates with her colleagues from the Computing, Data Management, and Data Scientists & Visualization teams to define strategies that improve communications for university researchers to learn of RCDS' most current service offerings. Letty is also responsible for managing the financials of the team by faciliating invoicing, license renewals, and event management. Letty ensures the internal daily operations of the unit run smoothly and efficiently.
After supporting and leading efforts for key research applications at Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Scienses (NUCATS) and Feinberg School of Medicine IT (FSMIT) for over a decade, Letty decided to bring her diverse career background in IT application support, training, process implementation, policy enforcement, business management, and marketing to the RCDS team. Letty’s extensive experience in working with Northwestern researchers assists with strengthening the relationships between RCDS and the research community.
Letty enjoys embracing the world through travel and food. She is a yogi, hiker, and plant lover and enjoys learning new gardening tips, trying new recipes, and spending time with her friends, family and dog in her free time.
