DataCamp Online Courses for R and Python

DataCamp is an online service with dozens of self-paced, interactive courses on using R, Python, and SQL for data analysis.  PhD students, faculty, and postdocs interested in learning or improving their data analysis skills in support of their research are eligible for access.  Undergraduates, master's degree students, and staff may request access if engaged in a relevant research project with a faculty sponsor or supervisor, or via special arrangement.

DataCamp subscriptions are funded by Research Computing Services, Kellogg School of Management, and Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.

Space is limited. Access is provisioned on a quarterly basis.

If you had access to DataCamp during a previous Research Computing workshop or quarter, you can apply for access again. However, new researchers will be given registration priority. This means that if more new registrants request access than there are subscriptions available, your DataCamp access may be reallocated to someone else. In such a case, you will be notified by email.

To request access to DataCamp, you must first:

  1. Create a DataCamp account
  2. Do one of the following:

Once you have met the prerequisites, apply for access to DataCamp.

NOTE: Access for Summer Quarter is full.  You can apply above to get on the list for Fall Quarter, which starts in September.
